How to setup a tracker

All this explaination will use the vl3000 in capture student as example
First step is to setup pan and tilt angle in your fixture types (the parameter is named physical range) :
We are searching the two angles of the range of our pan, we'll name them : MIN_ANGLE and MAX_ANGLE
You must work on one moving head, head at bottom, not rotated
Set the pan and tilt to 0
When looking the moving head from above (so you're looking the xy plane) move up your pan value
The beam is moving clockwise
MIN_ANGLE should be inferior to 0, corresponding to the picture above
MAX_ANGLE should be superior to 0, corresponding to the picture above
The beam is moving anti clockwise (vl3000 is anti clockwise)
MIN_ANGLE should be superior to 0, corresponding to the picture above (180 for vl3000)
MAX_ANGLE should be inferior to 0, corresponding to the picture above (-360 for vl3000))
Please respect the number of turns of your moving head (if your first angle is -90, the second is probably not 90 but 270)
The pan should be good, now you can set your tilt angle to its value : the negative value first, 0 degrees is at the middle (example for vl3000 : -120, 120)
Now that your fixture type is setup, you need to edit the position and rotation of all of your fixtures
the tracker should now work
